A big bowl of warming chilli is very much in order right now – its freezing, snowing and stormy outside. It feels like Winter is here and cosy warming bowls are very much called for.
This one – sweet squash and black beans which is such as gorgeous combination of textures and flavours. Warming and great for the whole family.
Swaps/tips;
- Add in or swap any bean or pulse you fancy – I love kidney beans or puy lentils
- Swap the squash for sweet potato or even parnsip
- Serve with rice, flatbreads or salad
- Toppings – runny tahini, lots of fresh herbs
